I have been painting from the moment I could hold a brush. Earning a BA in Fine Arts and Philosophy from Tulane University the vibrant colors and tapestry of New Orleans led me on a path of color exploration and texture that is evident in the body of work.
Influenced by Abstract Expressionism, inspired by nature and what is happening in and around my world, my paintings are nestled between restlessness and tranquility often juxtaposing elements of reality with abstraction. The pulsing compositions convey feelings of whimsy, uneasiness with elements of surprise.
